This is a handbound book of an intimate project of etching artist Maxim Van Cauwenberge. The book is a visual interpretation about the pain, love and loneliness of his long distance relationship with his girlfriend, who lives in Russia. During the Covid-19 pandemic they weren't able to see each other for months. The sensitivity and emotion of the content of the book are projected in the binding method.
BINDING METHOD:
Selfcover coptic stitch with black thread.
