Koningin Elisabethzaal

BOOK DESIGN

With this book, the Koningin Elisabethzaal in Antwerp, celebrates 125 years of classical music. The residence of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra is a magnificent example of superb architecture and a state-of-the-art concert hall. The new Queen Elisabeth Hall is a masterfully crafted golden instrument that is generous both for the orchestra and the audience. They all agree that the Queen Elisabeth Hall is one of the best music venues in Europe today.

Printed on high-end tactile paper, the Dutch text is supported by historical images. New, contrast-rich images of the concert hall adorn the pages between each chapter. To emphasize the golden architecture of the building, the pattern on the cover refers to the banisters and hand-rails inside the Elisabeth hall. Beautiful bordeaux elements appear in the typography of the book, as well as the endpages and the headbands & reading ribbon.
